About

A Supportive Space for Growth and Healing

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion, understanding, and practical support. I earned my graduate degree in Counseling and Personnel Services from Fordham University in 2009 and later completed an Advanced Certificate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University in 2019. Throughout my career, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings, which has allowed me to develop a broad and flexible approach to meeting each person’s unique needs. I also have specialized training in career counseling and college planning, supporting individuals as they navigate important life transitions and decisions. Today, I offer individual therapy to adults who may be experiencing anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, or emotional dysregulation. My approach to therapy combines cognitive behavioral techniques with a person-centered philosophy, meaning that our work together is both structured and collaborative while always centered around your experiences and goals. Fred Rogers once said, “Confronting our feelings and giving them appropriate expression always takes strength, not weakness.” I believe that each of us carries complex emotions, and at times we may need support in understanding, expressing, and managing them. Seeking help is an act of courage and self-care. In therapy, I aim to provide a safe and supportive space where you can explore your feelings, gain insight, and develop healthier ways to navigate life’s challenges. I believe therapy should be a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. Together, we will work to build new skills and strategies for managing stress, strengthening emotional well-being, and helping you move toward a healthier, more balanced, and fulfilling life.
